Drawing its heritage from the Mercury® Racing 377 Scorpion, the Scorpion 377 is a torque-beast designed to pull like nothing else. The 6.2L has the stroke to produce the best stump-pulling torque from a small block V-8. Why high torque instead of big power? Because it takes torque, not power at high rpm, to deliver the throttle response you want with a fully ballasted boat.
