Drive System PERFORMANCE
- Reduced height upper driveshaft housing places propeller shaft in proper relationship with boat running surface for optimal planing and top speed
- Drive geometry allows drive to tilt above the keel in most applications for enhanced shallow water capability and loading on steep boat ramps
- Combination of low-drag hydrodynamic design and a 4.75” torpedo diameter means more efficiency and the ability to use propellers up to 15” in diameter versus a maximum of 14” diameter for most outboards in this power range
